  • Volvo Group’s Ocean Summit on Marine Debris...

    The Volvo Group today conducted its Ocean Summit on Marine Debris during the Volvo Ocean Race stopover in Newport, Rhode Island, raising awareness and educating more than 200 attendees about the growing environmental concern of marine debris. Along with the Volvo Group, the summit was sponsored by The Embassy of Sweden, the U.S. State Department, the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Sail Newport, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and operating affordable public sailing instruction and attracting new sailors to the sport.
