    The European Commission will co-finance the project ‘Futureproof Skills for the Maritime transport sector (SkillSea)’ as publicly announced at a signature ceremony hosted by the EU Transport Commissioner, Violeta Bulc, on 20 November 2018. The project aims to develop strategies to identify and meet the future skills needs of the maritime sector and attract greater numbers of Europeans to work in maritime industries. The four-year project will begin in January 2019.

Funding Approved for New Floating Wind Turbine Concept

University of Texas at Dallas researcher Dr. Todd Griffith has received a $3.3 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy to take his floating offshore wind technology to the next level. The Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) award provides support for his team to design and build a turbine prototype.


PSA India Donates Rs 14 Lakh To Akshaya Patra Foundation

PSA India today donated Rs 14 Lakh to the Akshaya Patra Foundation, the world’s largest NGO-run Mid-Day Meal Scheme which serves wholesome school lunches daily to over 1.8 million children in 16,856 schools across 12 states and two Union territories of India. The donation was made during a visit to Akshaya Patra’s headquarters in Bengaluru, and was on behalf of PSA India’s container terminals: PSA Mumbai, PSA Chennai, PSA Kolkata and PSA Sical in Tuticorin.
