    The Port of San Diego continues to improve air quality and reduce greenhouse gas emissions on and around San Diego Bay. For the first time, two cruise ships can now simultaneously use shore power in San Diego rather than running their diesel engines while at berth. Previously, only one cruise vessel could plug in. On Friday, the Disney Wonder and the Insignia were the first two cruise vessels to use shore power at the same time in San Diego, according to the company's release.

Port Of Los Angeles Breaks Ground On $10.3 Million Front Street Beautification Project

With ceremonial shovels in hand, 15th District Los Angeles City Councilmember Tim McOsker and officials from the Port of Los Angeles today broke ground on the $10.3 million Front Street Beautification Project on the LA Waterfront. The project is among several being undertaken by the Port to further enhance connectivity and public access to the LA Waterfront for both Wilmington and San Pedro.

Maharashtra has 114 Sagarmala projects worth Rs. 99,210 Crore under MoPSW: Sonow

Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Tuesday said that the initiatives of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW) would boost infrastructure and drive investments to improve regional connectivity to aid trade. 
During a meeting with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in Mumbai, the Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways discussed various projects related to ports and shipping sector in the state under the MoPSW's Sagarmala program.
